Multiple accounts and source roots

Nessie supports more than one account or source root for the same integration.

For example, you can connect:

  • A personal ChatGPT account and a work ChatGPT account
  • Multiple Claude workspaces
  • Multiple Grok accounts
  • Multiple Manus accounts
  • Local and remote agent sources such as Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, Cursor, Pi, Antigravity, Grok Bot, Hermes, OpenClaw, or Claude Cowork
  • Multiple local folders
  • Multiple Obsidian vaults
  • Multiple Granola accounts
  • Multiple Read AI accounts
  • Multiple Gmail accounts
  • Team-shared sources owned by teammates

Each connected account becomes its own integration root. Nessie uses that root for browsing, filtering, and Cloud Sync. Sharing can target the whole root or narrow below it to selected repositories or individual sessions.

Why this matters:

  • You can keep personal and work sources separate
  • Agents can search inside one specific root instead of your entire library
  • Sharing can expose only the roots, repositories, or individual sessions you choose
  • MCP and CLI results can show provenance such as owner, team, device, platform, and status

In the Library, personal roots appear separately from team-shared roots. In agent surfaces, use nessie integration list or nessie_integration_list to inspect the same structure before searching.
