Connect Nessie to Perplexity so your contexts and conversation history are available in your Perplexity threads. You connect Nessie once; after that, Nessie is available wherever you are signed in to Perplexity.
Step 1: Open Connectors
Go to perplexity.ai, click your profile, and select Settings, then Connectors.
Step 2: Add a custom connector
Click Add custom connector and fill in:
- Name - Nessie
- Description (optional) - The context layer for your AI-native work
- MCP server URL -
https://mcp.nessielabs.com
Check I understand custom connectors can introduce risks.
Step 3: Authorize
Click Add connector. Perplexity will open the Nessie authorization page. Sign in with the same email you use for Nessie and click Authorize. Return to Perplexity - Nessie tools are now available in your threads.
What you can do:
Once connected, Perplexity can search your Nessie library, read your contexts and transcripts, browse your profile and synced source graphs, inspect team-shared resources, and create or edit contexts. Try:
- "Search my Nessie for everything about the pricing decision"
- "Read my competitive analysis context"
- "What projects am I working on according to my Nessie profile?"
- "Search team-shared sessions about the launch bug"
- "Create a context from this thread and save it to Nessie"
