Connect Nessie to ChatGPT so your contexts and conversation history are available in every ChatGPT chat. You connect Nessie once; after that, Nessie is available wherever you are signed in to ChatGPT, not only in the browser.
Step 1: Enable Developer Mode
On chatgpt.com, open Settings → Security and login → Developer mode, and enable Developer mode.
Step 2: Add Nessie from Plugins
Open Plugins, choose Browse plugins, then click the + button. Fill in:
- Name - Nessie
- Connection URL -
https://mcp.nessielabs.com
Step 3: Authorize
After you add Nessie, ChatGPT will ask you to sign in. Sign in with your Nessie account and click Authorize. Return to ChatGPT - Nessie tools are now available in your conversations.
What you can do:
Once connected, ChatGPT can search your Nessie library, read your contexts and transcripts, browse your profile and synced source graphs, inspect team-shared resources, and create or edit contexts. Try:
- "Search my Nessie for everything about the database migration"
- "Read my competitive analysis context"
- "What projects am I working on according to my Nessie profile?"
- "Search team-shared Claude Code sessions about the launch bug"
- "Create a context from this conversation and save it to Nessie"
