Connect Nessie to Claude so your contexts and conversation history are available in every Claude chat. You connect Nessie once; after that, Nessie is available wherever you are signed in to Claude, not only in the browser.
Step 1: Open the Nessie connector setup
Open Add Nessie to Claude. Claude opens the custom connector form with the name and remote MCP server URL already filled in.
Step 2: Review and continue
Verify the prefilled values:
- Name - Nessie
- Remote MCP server URL -
https://mcp.nessielabs.com
Click Continue, then confirm that you want to add the connector. Claude warns that the values came from an external link so you can review them before continuing.
If the prefilled form does not open, go to Customize → Connectors, choose Add → Add custom connector, and enter the same name and URL manually.
Step 3: Authorize
Claude will open the Nessie authorization page. Sign in with your Nessie account and click Authorize. Return to Claude - Nessie tools are now available in your conversation.
What you can do:
Once connected, Claude can search your Nessie library, read your contexts and transcripts, browse your profile and synced source graphs, inspect team-shared resources, and create or edit contexts - all within the conversation. Try:
- "Search my Nessie for everything about the pricing decision"
- "Read my investor brief context"
- "What does my Nessie profile say about my expertise?"
- "List the team-shared sources I can use"
- "Create a context summarizing this conversation"
